Unfortunately, you cannot just make yourself some tools out of wood like normal Minecraft, other than a shovel. I would assume you have read the ImDeity FTB: How To Join Guide thread & have been able to connect. I would greatly appreciate & welcome any other contributions or suggestions for improvement. I will attempt to put useful screenshots etc & hopefully I can do it justice. With the popularity & interest that our FTB server has gained, I aim on constructing a more easy source of info for people getting started on it than Google/Youtube/ FTBWiki.
